Thomas J. Sutter
Tom has been a custom builder for over 30 years managing projects that include log homes, historic rehabs and custom homes from 1,100 to 13,000 sq.ft. Tom began his building career in 1977 as a partner in “Sutter Construction” with his father, Tom Sutter Sr.
Lynn Sutter
Lynn and Tom incorporated Sutter Homes, Inc. following the retirement of Tom Sr. in 1994. Lynn’s background includes public relations, marketing & design.

Eric Sutter, 2008 graduate from Northern Ky University, major in Construction Management. Eric has worked Construction since age 12 and now heads the “Vision Homes” Segment of the Sutter Homes Business.

History of Sutter Homes
Thomas J. and Lynn Sutter, owners of Sutter Homes, Inc., are proud of their family based new home building company. “Our business may have gone from cabins to castles, but the basic elements have remained the same,” says Tom. “We never forget a custom home is all about understanding the lifestyle and needs of our clients.” The Sutter Homes team has been building new custom homes in the Northern Kentucky area for over 30 years. Sutter Homes niche is the luxury custom market, with projects ranging from $400,000. to $ 3,000,000., but the roots are planted in the log home industry. For the first seventeen years Sutter Construction (a partnership formed between Tom and his Father) built over 35 log homes and quite a few custom homes nestled in the Tri-State hills. While building homes, they were also building a first class reputation in the area. As affordable land became scarce, and Tom’s Dad talked retirement, a new custom home era began.
In 1994 Tom and Lynn formed their second partnership incorporating Sutter Homes, Inc. They implemented numerous new building practices while they positioned the Company for growth. Lynn’s background in Public Relations, Marketing and Design combined with Tom’s skill in the building industry formed the strong foundation of the new Company. Today, Sutter Homes continued success is due to several factors, Tom and Lynn say, First is the love of the business. “We think this is the best job anyone can have! We take a pile of rocks, sticks and ideas and make them into a beautiful new home”. Second, is the joy we get working with our team. “From our financial advisors to our cleaning crew, everyone works toward the same goal, to build a project that everyone can be proud of”.
